STATE COUNCIL PROGRAM AWARD SUBMISSIONS

SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS MARCH 31, 2023 - Councils submissions for CT State Faith in Action Awards - Faith, Family , Community and Life Programs  - can be made using the online form provided by the Supreme Council. 


All submissions should be made by email to program.director@ctstatecouncil.org. Individual submissions are required for each category. 


Winning councils will be recognized at the State Convention in Hartford, May 5-7, 2023

CAMPAIGN FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES (CPID)

  • CPID is one of our major fundraising efforts and is the main source for annual donations to Connecticut Special Olympics, and other programs and schools for people with needs. While this is often referred to as the "Tootsie Roll Program," fundraising can be done by any means that suits a council. This program is conducted by Columbian Charities of Connecticut, Inc., which is a 501(c)(3) charity associated with the Connecticut State Council. The CPID Chairman is Tom Sullivan, who can be reached at Executive.Secretary@ctstatecouncil.org

COLUMBIAN CHARITIES OF CONNECTICUT, INC. (CCCI)

  • Columbian Charities of Connecticut, Inc. (CCCI) is a 501(c)(3) charity that is affiliated with the Connecticut State Council of the Knights of Columbus. The mission of CCCI is to (a) to serve as the charitable arm of the Connecticut State Council, (b) to engage in and promote the welfare of the Knights of Columbus throughout Connecticut, and (c) to operate exclusively for religious, charitable, educational and/or scientific purposes. CCCI has a limited amount of funds available for grants to fund programs and activities that are consistent with its mission.
