District First Degree

District First Degree:

This new program is mandatory. Each District will need to schedule and run a District First Degree between November 1 to November 11. The District Deputy will need to schedule this before October 15th and send the date, time and place to Program.director@ctstatecouncil.org and Membership.director@ctstatecouncil.org before October 15th. You will need to arrange a degree team or use one from the district. This District First Degree will be in honor of our Bishops in CT. A letter to the Bishops will be written by Msgr. Cullen and State Deputy Steve Bacon will send to each Bishop with a list of these degrees, the week of October 15th. The Letter, which the District Deputy will receive a copy, will show our continued support of the Bishops and priests. We will send each of them a Certificate honoring their service to the Church, Community. It is acceptable if you wish to work with neighboring Districts to hold a combined degree - and the DDs for those district must be in attendance. You will spread this information to your councils so they can bring new members. This list will also be posted on the CT website. Make sure all proper degree forms are filed with Supreme and a copy must come to my attention so I can share the results with Supreme.

Our state membership incentives for the months of October through December:

Provided the State achieves their goal of 250 new members during the period of 10/1/18 through 12/31/18, the top 5 Council's with the highest percentage of Council intake vs Council quota will be entered into a $1,000 raffle. The winner of the raffle will be drawn on January 15, 2019.
